The Diocese of Greensburg Seventh Grade Technology Curriculum provides an enriched learning experience for students to show their Catholic faith through the following course units: Digital Citizenship, Web Accounts, Basic Computer Skills and Keyboarding, Word Processing, Research, Coding, Spreadsheets, Presentations, and Digital Design.
Students will learn how to develop their online Catholic identity, be creative and responsible communicators while unplugged and online, and use computers and a variety of digital tools and software.

In Introduction to Programming I, students will be introduced to basic programming codes and actions. Additionally, students will be introduced to 3D technology and design elements. All students will have the opportunity to work with 3D files, manipulate designs, and construct and print their designs with 3D printers.

11/12	Introduction to Programming II	0.5	High School I

Introduction to Programming II builds on students previous knowledge on basic 3D technologies and programming of drag and drop coding by teaching students how to write code and work with building and coding circuits with Audrino Kits. Students will create schematics, code lights, motors, timers, ask and response designs, and build a custom final project that the students will code and demonstrate use. Students will also expand on their 3D technology skills and explore building and designing with alternative 3D tools and techniques appropriate for career and technology pathways.
