In the spring of 2023, Bishop Kulick made the safety and security of the Diocese of Greensburg a priority, which includes the parishes, churches and our Catholic Schools. To that goal, the Diocese has created a private police force to serve the parishioners and students of the Diocese.
Today, Officer Tim ‘Bo’ Karpiak has joined the Geibel Catholic family as our Diocese Police Officer. Officer Karpiak brings with him twenty-seven years of law enforcement experience gained as a Pennsylvania State Trooper and as an officer with the Southmoreland School District. While his main focus will be to protect our Geibel Catholic students, staff, and visitors at the school, Officer Karpiak will step into other roles as he performs his School Resource Officer duties.
As you visit Geibel Catholic, please introduce yourself to Officer Karpiak and welcome him to the Geibel Catholic family.
