Students wanting to join Geibel Catholic from outside of the United States will need to complete additional requirements to successfully apply.
Steps to Take
- Complete the Student Interest form and the FACTS Application.
- Additional items include a current school transcript, a copy of the student’s valid passport, and an email address.
- Students will need to complete a video conference interview with Geibel Catholic Administration.
- This meeting includes discussion about student interests, academic strengths and goals, interests in sports, and future plans.
- After an International student is accepted for admission to Geibel Catholic, our guidance department will create an I-20 in SEVIS.
- The Student will need to complete a VISA interview with the US Embassy/Consulate of his/her home country. The I-20 will be needed for the VISA interview. Additional information about Student Visas can be found here.
- Lastly, the student will work with our guidance department for course registrations and making arrangements with the sponsoring agency/ host family for arrival to the United States.
- Students can enter the US up to 30 days prior to their program start date. It is recommended to arrive at least a week prior to the start of school.
- Students may also be asked to complete placement testing.
- Students should order their school uniforms as early as possible and have them shipped to their US address.
- Complete the Student Information and interest form.
- Complete the FACTS application. All application fees and tuition payments will be made through the FACTS portal.
- Schedule a Video Conference with the Geibel Catholic Administration team.
- Complete a VISA interview with the U.S. Consulate or Embassy in your home country. Our guidance department will create the I-20 form that will be needed for the VISA interview.
- Upon acceptance to Geibel Catholic, our guidance department will contact International students to discuss class scheduling and placement testing (if necessary).
- International students will coordinate for housing accommodations through PA Academy. Students can enter the country up to 30 days prior to the start of the school start date. It is recommended that students arrive at least one week before beginning school.
