A scholarship is an award of financial aid, given to students to help further their education.
Scholarships are available for current and incoming Geibel Catholic undergraduate students, as well as, for seniors applying to colleges and universities.
Scholarships, undergraduate and college, come from many sources including; the federal government, the state government, a college or career school, a private organization or a nonprofit organization, and, unlike loans, are not required to be repaid. Scholarships are awarded based on various criteria and eligibility requirements, which usually reflect the values and purposes of the donor organization. Scholarship applications come in many forms and may include written essays, interviews, video presentations or other modes of communication submitted to organizations for review and selection.
