For the past 9 years I have served as a high school principal in the Diocese of Greensburg.
-4 Years at Greensburg Central Catholic High School
-Presently in my 5th year at Geibel Catholic as the principal
Being chosen to be the principal of these two diocesan high schools is the professional honor of my lifetime. I also was a principal for several years at Deer Lakes Junior-Senior High School in the North Hills and a school administrator at Mount Alvernia Academy in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
During the 2015-2016 School Year I attended and completed several professional development sessions. Two very important sessions included: Emergency Management Training by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Association and Best Educational Practices at the Association of Curriculum and Supervision in Nashville, Tennessee.

I have also been inducted into several high school basketball coaching hall of fames. I have over 500 high school basketball wins including a 1985 AAA PIAA State Championship and a 1985 WPIAL Championship.
My wife Janie and I are members of Christ the King Parish in Leechburg. We have two adult children and six grandchildren.

Over 15 years’ professional experience in financial and business analysis; general ledger, budget and cost accounting; and database maintenance and report writing. Ms. Peton joined the Geibel Catholic family in 2014.

*Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Sports Medicine, University of Pittsburgh
*Currently studying for a Masters in the Art of Teaching, from California University of Pennsylvania.
I have been a part of the Geibel Catholic family since 1996 when I served as the schools’ Certified Athletic Trainer. I began working in the office in 2013. While my job description continually changes, I try to serve the needs of our students, families, and faculty to the best of my ability.
Mr. AJ Dines, Athletic Director
Mr. Dines is serving his first year as Athletic Director at Geibel and is currently the Cross Country and Track coach.

Mr. Gary Snyder, Head Custodian
Mr. Snyder began working at Geibel Catholic in 2004. He is retired from US Steel, where he worked for 35 years. Also, he is a veteran of the United States Army and served for 14 months in Vietnam.
Mr. Dan Chedrick, Head of Maintenance
Mr. Chedrick is enjoying his first year at Geibel Catholic. Previously, he worked at the Pastoral Center in Greensburg.
