Liturgy Planning Committee Moderator: Mr. Scott Procko Description: Provides an opportunity for students to fully participate in discipleship of our Christian Faith through liturgical duties. Jump-A-Thon Moderators: Mrs. Hillen and Mrs. Rose Description: Raise money for the American Heart Association. Junior Class Ring Ceremony Moderator: Junior Class Moderator Description: Geibel Catholic High School host an annual Junior Class Ring Ceremony usually the second week of October. After a liturgy of thanksgiving, the class rings are blessed and distributed by the principal. Traditionally, juniors ask senior friends to present them with their rings. Thus many students get involved in the ceremony and its preparation. The Junior Class Officers and the Junior Class Student Council Officers usually plan the program with the Junior Class (ring ceremony moderator?? maybe Junior Class Moderator). The ceremony signifies the passing of the Junior Class from the rank of underclassmen to their official position of upperclassmen. Music Ministry Moderator: Mr. Bell Description: Provides students with the opportunity to use their musical skills as a form of praise to God at school and community masses as well as church services. Prom Committee Moderator: Junior Class Moderator Description: The Prom Committee is responsible for planning, decorating and supervising the Grand March and Prom. Sophomore Christmas Dance Committee Moderator: Mrs. Pat Pluck Description: To organize, plan and set up all aspects of the Christmas Dance. Student Council Moderator: Mrs. Kathy Hillen and Mr. Justin Stevenson Description: Students are given an oppurtunity to represent the entire student body, provide and instrument for co-operation between classes, set good examples to all members of the student body, foster teacher-student relations, and act as a medium of exchange for ideas.
